Insight comes out every Thursday at 7am. Anything that reaches us by Tuesday at 6pm is considered for that week's issue, and anything later goes into the following week's. We read everything, edit for length and clarity, and send you the edited version before it appears. You can also email hello@lewesgo.co.uk.

Booking an advert? The quickest way is the advert booking form: just your website and email, and we write the advert for you to check. Use this form if you want to ask about a page in the magazine.

What are you sending?

Article A story, opinion or report about Lewes, up to 800 words. Interview Someone in Lewes you have talked to, or would like us to talk to. Letter For the Dear LewesGo page, up to 350 words. Artwork or photograph For the cover or the picture of the week. Send a link to the file. Reader offer or competition A discount, prize draw or giveaway for Insight readers. Advertorial A paid, labelled article about your business. We reply with a price. Advert A page or box in the magazine. We reply with prices and dates.

What happens next

• We reply within two working days to say whether your piece is in, and which issue it is for.
• Articles and interviews appear in both editions: tidied in the standard edition, and rewritten in news style and checked by the editor in the journalist edition. We send you both versions before publication.
• Insight does not pay for articles, interviews or letters at the moment. Every published piece carries your name, a line about you and a link, if you want one.
• Advertorials, adverts and business offers are paid placements and are always labelled as such. We will reply with the price and dates before anything is booked.
• Reader offers and competitions must be genuine, free to enter, and run by you. Tell us the prize, the closing date and how the winner is chosen.

What we will not print

Anything that is not yours to send, personal attacks or claims about a named private person, or a business advert presented as an article. We may shorten letters, and the views in them are the writers', not LewesGo's. Read our privacy notice to see how we use the details you send; we keep emails for two years from our last reply.
